For Sequential Art Senior Project besides our massive story that we make a contract for at the beginning of the quarter, we also have to do an assessment project for accredidation or something like that where everyone works from the same basic idea. Wierd thing is they want a maximum of 4 pages but they only want the first one finished.
Thats a good thing for me since I'm doing so many pages, but definitely doesn't seem like enough to me. Along with the finished page we give them the thumbnails for the rest.
Perhaps a project this summer will be to finish up this, but for now I must put it aside
Well I do have more pages worked out, but the assignment only required the first page completed. The work I wanted to accomplish that quarter prevented me from finishing anymore. Maybe with my free time now, that will be possible.
Steve, I see you trying to use a convention we film makers call the "ass shot" however, your "ass shot" is lacking in three key letters: h-o-t. So what we've got is an "ass s" I think that last panel would be imminently more funny and appealing from a tighter angle with this tight ass swung over the seat next to your driver's head.
I just spotted something. That word baloon in the first panel is so far awary from the yellow car that i almost missed it all together. It needs to be closer or have a longer tail to point tothe car. Just my two cents.
It's some very good work. I envy your ability with environments and establishing shots. the characters look very real and natural as well. I think you would do well in reality or horror based comics where the more realistic or ordinary te character looks the better.
I disagree. You are very clean but you could do horror very well. Some of the best color horror comics I've seen were done by very clean artists with styles very similar to your own.
Not terribly sure. I can't remember how long the actual drawing took, but I think the coloring was 5-6 hours after I recolored it from the first time I decided I didn't like the colors. All told it was probably 10 hours I think. Glad you like it!
