Red Sonja - Colorby ~self-replica

I finally got around to coloring the Red Sonja pic I did earlier: [link]

I tried some different lighting filters to try and make it look like a night time storm, and light gleams on her from inside the tent. I like how it turned out, although working in CMYK to start with makes it harder to get really dark colors. Also I hate rain, I will never color it again if I don't absolutely have too ^^

I like the colors, very moody. The hair seems just a little flat compared to the rest of the picture, but that also makes it stand out more. Also, the lanterns in the background are a very unique and delightful way to add lighting to the picture. as for the rain effect itself, it's good, I certainly couldn't do much better. Anyways, that's my long winded analysis.

this is a pretty interesting piece...I like the colours you've used and the way the hair contrasts with everything else.
She has an...interesting riding style though

but it looks comfortable so who's complaining?
