Here is the first finished version...I am going to repaint it to 's suggestion. I did a ghetto mock up of it using the cheap lighting effects, but I know it would look a lot better hand painted (in Photoshop that is). This was a ton of fun. If I forgot to mention it before, this is my submission to 's contest for illustrated favorite power metal song.

Its definitely worth a listen, in my humble opinion. But you have to like a little bit of 80's rock and roll, like KISS and such to appreciate them. They don't sound like them, but they're like an evolution of that sound, if that makes any sense.

It's a great looking piece. I don't understand why it isn't faved more than it is. My only concern is the text. It is not easy to read and does not look like it belongs in the picture. My only complaint.

I should have posted the non text version here, you're right. I had to add text for the contest I submitted to which was to illustrate song lyrics. So that's part of the chorus.

Also...I wish it was favved more too...it's one of the pieces I am most proud of. Glad you like it too ^^
